Innochain Colloquium


ROK participated at the Innochain 2nd Year Colloquium in the role of an industry partner. The Colloquium is an evaluation event during which all Innochain researchers present their development. Innochain is an EU funded research training network, examining how advances in digital design tools challenge building culture, enabling informed and materially smart design solutions.

ITECH Expert Lecture


ROK partner Silvan Oesterle will give a lecture in the ITECH Expert Lecture series. The series is organized by the Institute for Computational Design and Construction (ICD) and the Institute for Building Structures and Structural Design (itke) at the University of Stuttgart. NON Festival Stage


We congratulate WaltGalmarini AG to the Building Award 2017 in the category "Young Professionals". The price was awarded for the new stage of the N.O.N Open Air festival festival in Meggen, Switzerland. The dome structure consists of 42 timber cells covered with a custom cut membrane. ROK supported the project by generating the timber geometry including the connection detailing of the 244 timber elements to prepare all parts for the CNC cutting process.

New Project Under Construction


Over the last year we have been working on the remodeling of a residence in Stuttgart. The brief asked for a complete refurbishment of the exterior and interior spaces. Depicted is the raw construction of the spa area.
